About the Datachain initiative

Datachain announced a project to build a global payment solutions infrastructure on 5 September 2024!
Since its inception in 2018, Datachain has been continuing R&D on technology and business opportunities with the aim of creating a De-Facto infrastructure’ as a Global x Deep Tech company from Japan.

We aim to become a Decacorn (a start-up with an enterprise value of more than USD 10 billion), and we are often told that we need to win in Global x Deep Tech to realize this goal.

As a major first step, the announced project will start, but we have a limited amount of time to get off to a flying start with a big advantage in this area, where the world's top companies will be our competitors. 

As the first penguin, we are currently rapidly expanding our recruitment in order to create a De-Facto infrastructure’ as a Global x Deep Tech company from Japan, 

Why Datachain can achieve this

• We will develop an international remittance infrastructure using stable coins in collaboration with a communication network for financial transactions linking more than 11,000 institutions in more than 200 countries and regions worldwide, which are also used by major Japanese banks for overseas remittances.
• In June 2023, Japan will be the first developed country to enact legislation on blockchain stablecoins, so that Japan leads the world in this area.
• The technology Datachain has been researching and developing - blockchain-to-blockchain transmission technology - is leading the world.

Attractiveness of the position

The front-end lead engineer needs to launch a new system to drive a new major project.
The role of leading, or leading a team to create the ideal environment for creating the system is needed.

On the implementation side, in addition to the usual design aspects of front-end implementation, there will be direct calls to smart contracts and other applications on the blockchain. This is an interesting opportunity to design a UX that has never been done before, as it requires development that requires long state management of intermediate states unique to the blockchain.

Requirements

• Experience in implementing development infrastructure, defining development rules, review process, repository strategy, etc. at the time of new start-up
• Experience in talking with product managers to organize the necessary elements of system development into components.
• Experience in sharing technical knowledge through pair-programming, mob-programming, walkthroughs, etc.
• Experience in making rational technical decisions based on a balance of business, organization, and technology
• Experience making decisions with a view to mid- to long-term system operation and developing an environment that guarantees internal quality
• Selection of technologies including data stores, queries, caches, validators, and other peripheral mechanisms, with a focus on Next.js, React, etc., and formulation of strategies for directory structure.
• Basic knowledge of algorithms, data structures, networks, security, design patterns, etc.

Preferred Experiences

• Prototyping experience using tools such as Figma
• Experience in blockchain related development such as ethers.js, viem, wagmi, etc.
• Experience in promoting and recruiting in the engineering field
• Experience in back-end development
• Able to implement based on English literature
