Data Engineer — Databricks × HULFT WebConnect (short remote mission)

Context

Short mission (~1 month, fully remote) for a Japanese FinTech player: build a file-sending connector from Databricks via the HULFT WebConnect API. Business-level Japanese is required for this engagement (client-side communication).

Your Mission

• Build a file-sending connector from Databricks using the HULFT WebConnect API
• Implement reliable file transfer (SFTP) and data integration / ETL flows
• Develop in Python, with clean error handling and monitoring
• Coordinate with the client team in Japanese

Profile

• Currently based in Japan with valid work authorization — no relocation or visa sponsorship from overseas for this role
• Senior data engineer with Databricks and Python experience
• Hands-on with file transfer (SFTP) and data integration / ETL
• HULFT / WebConnect exposure a plus
• Business-level Japanese required; English a plus

Location and Setup

Fully remote, ~1 month mission. Contract via Abbeal. Business-level Japanese required.
