Acompany, a privacy tech company specializing in privacy protection technologies and personal information protection, offers "AutoPrivacy," a data infrastructure for integrating personal data. AutoPrivacy is a data infrastructure that allows for data integration while protecting the privacy of personal data. After several pilot tests with multiple partner companies, we began offering this service in August 2023.

In addition to data integration, we are launching several new businesses to solve all issues related to the utilization of personal data.

To support our rapid growth, we seek to expand our team with Full-Stack Engineers who are committed to developing better customer experiences.

"AutoPrivacy" is a product targeted at enterprise companies, necessitating the development of new features for optimization. In this environment, optimizing with a clear division between front-end and back-end is challenging. We aim to maximize customer value and speed up development by having individuals handle a coherent set of features from end to end.

As our service and market grow rapidly, we are recruiting full-stack engineers to continue exceeding user expectations with great products.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Developing the front-end/back-end of "AutoPrivacy," equipped for the rapid growth of our business
• Full-cycle product development based on requirements, including design, implementation, testing, verification, and release
• Product development focused on thorough domain understanding and addressing customer issues
• Team development in collaboration with PdM, designers, and other roles
• Sharing knowledge and practices through engineering community engagements, such as speaking at events and writing tech blogs

 

Examples of Specific Tasks

• Participating in the roadmap planning process
• Engaging in the user experience planning process based on customer needs
• Specifying, designing databases, coding, and implementing features to meet customer needs
• Developing user-friendly UI/UX in collaboration with designers
• Sharing insights and practices obtained during development through blogging

 

Technical Features of the Product

• Privacy protection technologies (such as secure computation, differential privacy, and federated learning) are available in the cloud.
• Capable of processing and coordinating table data ranging from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of records per customer.
• Advanced security levels required by major corporations.
• Highly flexible workflow and permission management features.

Required Skills

Minimum:

• Experience in back-end development using statically typed languages (Go, Java, Rust, TypeScript, etc.)
• Experience in developing and operating front-ends using modern frameworks (such as React)
• Communication skills in Japanese: Business level or above

Preferred:

• Experience in backend development and operation that requires high security standards for major companies
• Experience in running container orchestration tools such as k8s in production
• Award-winning experience in ISUCON (a programming contest focused on improving system performance)
• Knowledge of data warehouses, data clean rooms, BI tools, and related products, SaaS development, etc.

Members are thriving from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, all working fully remotely.

With a flex system that allows for flexible working hours from 5 AM to 10 PM, except for the core time from 1 PM to 4 PM, it has become easier to balance work with family and hobbies.

Except for once every four months (three times a year) when we align the company's direction at an offsite meeting, full remote work is possible.
