業務内容 / You will be

Designing and implementing the solution that enables software engineers, machine learning engineers, business and designers to deploy applications and ML pipelines as reactive APIs.
Deploying solutions onto the cloud in a serverless manner or as an API in our Kubernetes cluster
Writing test and implementing automation pipelines to improve development efficiency with the team
Responsible for code reviews of your team members and provide guidance
Contributing to the overall product strategy by providing feedback from a software engineer’s standpoint

応募資格（必須） / Minimum qualifications

Strong development background in Golang
Experience working with databases (relational or non-relational)
General experience with Linux and Dockerization technologies
Experience deploying software into a cloud environment/ Kubernetes cluster
Knowledge of automated software testing, CI/CD, release management
Knowledge of software architecture such as distributed system architecture

Effective interpersonal and communication skills :

Business-level English and conversational Japanese

Business-level Japanese and at least reading and writing capabilities for English

Background in computer science or a related field
Strong Kubernetes expertise as a user and developer
Experience developing Kubernetes native solutions such as Operators or Controllers
Experience using resource managers such as Helm or Argocd
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with design, development, testing, and monitoring of large-scale and data-intensive systems
Experience designing, building and running elastic, cost-effective, resilient, robust, and secure architectures in the cloud using modern approaches like service-mesh and loosely coupled design
Familiarity with programming paradigms and concepts like OOP, multi-threading, idempotency

Understand the pros and cons of software architecture and be able to advise the team on which to use for solving a business problem.

Japanese Language Policy
Japanese skills are not strictly required. They also offer some support for helping with Japanese language study, but those who don’t speak Japanese may have a more limited set of teams where they can work. They recommend employees have the ability to hold daily conversations in Japanese.
Paid Leave
At the start of the fiscal year (April 1st), employees receive their paid time off days for the year.

In the first year of employment, the number of days received will be relative to the number of months worked.

In the year after joining, employees receive 15 days of paid time off, followed by 16 days the next year, and an additional two days beyond that for each year that passes.

Also, members from outside of Japan get two extra “return vacation” days in addition to this.

Remote Work
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, ExaWizards is currently fully remote. Individuals are free to come to the office if desired, but it’s not required. And the company still doesn’t have a long-term plan in place for a potential return to working from the office.
Work style
For engineers and designers, ExaWizards uses a fully discretionary labor system (裁量労働制).
They don’t have a specific start time, nor do they have core hours.

Members with children are able to use this system to make time to drop off children at school or fulfill any other obligations.

ExaWizards has a special support program for people who want to continue their doctoral studies while working. They even subsidize the costs (tuition, entrance fees etc) up to 2 million yen until graduation.
