Senior UX Software Engineer

We are looking for a full-time Senior UX (User Experience) Software Engineer in the Tokyo area. At LogicVein you will have the opportunity to build products that currently help many of the largest companies in the world maintain more reliable networks.

Responsibilities

• Work with team to understand customer needs and to design impressive and intuitive user interfaces for monitoring and managing enterprise networks
• Continuously improve product architecture as technologies progress
• Diagnose and debug customer issues
• Participate in peer code reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web development.
• Experience with web packaging tools like Webpack.
• Strong sense of design and aesthetic.
• Strong logic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with network management or systems administration.
• Experience with React and redux.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and initiative.

This position is primarily for remote work. Our main office is in Saginuma, Kawasaki, Japan and we have team members in the United States, Sri Lanka, England, Malaysia, and Italy.

Working Environment

All development is in English so fluency in English is required. Japanese language skills, while not required, are a plus.

This is a full-time position. The working hours will be whatever best suits you with once- or twice-a-week meetings in the Tokyo time zone. The team regularly communicates using chat and video conferencing.
