Abbeal is an international IT & engineering consulting firm (France, Japan, Canada). Through Abbeal, lead the stress analysis and structural integrity of a composite eVTOL airframe for a Japanese flying-car maker in Aichi.
Context
You will lead stress analysis and structural integrity of a composite airframe for a passenger eVTOL (electric vertical take-off & landing aircraft), for a Japanese flying-car maker. Full on-site in the Aichi (Nagoya) area. English is the working language; Japanese is not required (no JLPT requirement).
Your Mission
- Lead stress and structural analysis of a composite (CFRP) airframe
- Run FEA with Nastran and LS-DYNA
- Own fatigue & damage tolerance analyses (CMH-17)
- Support certification under EASA SC-VTOL
- Collaborate with design, systems, and manufacturing teams
Profile
- Senior stress / structural analysis engineer (5+ years, ideally 8–15)
- Strong Nastran and LS-DYNA (FEA) on composite structures
- Fatigue & damage tolerance, CMH-17; EASA SC-VTOL a plus
- Fluent English; Japanese not required
Location and Setup
Aichi (Nagoya area) — full on-site. Long-term mission; freelance or Abbeal permanent. Hired and supported by Abbeal (visa sponsorship + Mobbeal expat support). Indicative range ¥8M–¥16M/year depending on experience.
