We are seeking an experienced Global Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and elevate the WHERENESS platform to an international audience. If you’re passionate about scaling a cutting-edge product at the intersection of art and technology, we’d love to hear from you!
Role & Responsibilities
As a Global Marketing Director at WHERENESS, you will:
- Develop and implement a strategic global marketing plan to increase brand awareness and user adoption of the WHERENESS platform.
- Lead cross-functional teams (including product, design, and sales) to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning across all channels.
- Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns—including digital advertising, social media, events, and PR—to target museums, collectors, institutions, and art enthusiasts worldwide.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with cultural institutions, technology platforms, and influencers that can help expand WHERENESS’s global reach.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to refine marketing strategies and maximize ROI.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content and storytelling that highlights WHERENESS’s unique value proposition, from AI-driven insights to 3D/immersive experiences.
- Lead the marketing team in developing new approaches to global market entry, ensuring regulatory compliance and localized marketing for different regions.
- Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to innovate and maintain WHERENESS’s competitive edge in the market.
List of Skills
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Proven experience in global marketing strategy development and execution within SaaS or tech-driven industries.
- Strong track record in team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and aligning marketing initiatives with business objectives.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Expertise in digital marketing channels (social media, SEM/SEO, email marketing, display ads).
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar) to measure campaign effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
- Ability to interpret data-driven insights and translate them into actionable plans to drive user acquisition, retention, and brand growth.
Brand Management & Storytelling
- Experienced in crafting brand narratives and messaging that resonate with diverse audiences across multiple geographies.
- Skilled at producing marketing collateral (videos, presentations, case studies) that effectively communicate product value.
Partnerships & Community Building
- Strong network in the art, culture, or technology sectors and the ability to forge meaningful partnerships.
- Track record in community-building efforts, influencer marketing, and event sponsorship or organizing.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in English and Japanese typography and copywriting is a plus, ensuring brand consistency in both markets.
- Passion for arts and culture, with a keen appreciation for how technology can enhance cultural preservation and storytelling.
