The Commitment

• Lead multiple client engagements simultaneously while managing priorities across 2–5 implementation projects.
• Build trusted relationships with new and existing clients, serving as a strategic advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead end-to-end enterprise software implementation projects, including discovery, business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, validation, testing, user acceptance, training, and go-live support.
• Conduct solution demonstrations, client workshops, and executive presentations throughout project delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants while supporting their professional development.
• Apply and continuously improve Appficiency's delivery methodology, implementation frameworks, and best practices.
• Develop expertise across enterprise business applications, business processes, and industry solutions.
• Analyze client operations and recommend scalable solutions that improve efficiency and business performance.
• Design enterprise business processes and support solution architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, automation, and solution delivery.
• Troubleshoot implementation challenges and deliver innovative, business-focused solutions.
• Contribute to reusable assets, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives across the consulting organization.

 

The Essentials

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (MBA is considered an asset).
• Based in Japan with professional proficiency in both Japanese and English.
• 6+ years of experience delivering enterprise software implementations as a Functional Consultant, Business Consultant, Solution Consultant, or Business Analyst.
• Experience implementing ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM, or other enterprise business applications, including platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Infor, IFS, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar solutions.
• Experience working within consulting firms, system integrators, software vendors, or professional services organizations.
• Previous leadership experience mentoring consultants or managing small project teams is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes across one or more industries such as manufacturing, construction, distribution, professional services, retail, or financial services.
• Experience designing complex business solutions and translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to client locations across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region as required.
