Lead QA Engineer

Zaiko is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to drive quality assurance and ensure technical excellence for our innovative creator platform. Responsibilities:

• Oversee QA processes to ensure high-quality releases.
• Mentor and guide QA team members in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Conduct thorough product testing, ensuring localization accuracy for English and Japanese markets.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, including regression, unit, exploratory, functional, and performance testing.
• Report findings and collaborate to enhance product quality.
• Prioritize and address issues effectively in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills:

• Business-level proficiency in English or Japanese, with a functional understanding of the other.
• Proven QA or software development experience with a focus on web and mobile applications.

Desirable Skills:

• Copywriting skills for English or Japanese audiences.
• Expertise in localization practices between English and Japanese.
• Proficiency with QA tools (Testrail, JIRA, GitHub) and familiarity with industry standards.
• Insight into the online streaming and entertainment sectors.
• Business-level proficiency in additional languages like Korean and Chinese is a plus.
• Comfortable with internal communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Google Docs, Figma).
• Adaptability to thrive in startup environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to diagnose complex issues in application testing.
