Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our team.

• Test planning and design for development projects
• Conduct quality verification testing of deliverables, make release decisions, and instruct development to make improvements.
• Selection of processes, techniques, and tools related to quality assurance for the entire group, including overseas subsidiaries, and planning of testing strategies and implementation in the field.
• Identification of bottlenecks in quality improvement, and study/implementation of methods to resolve them (e.g., improvement of development processes in cooperation with PM/PMO)
• Manage global QA teams for both Japan and offshore.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in upstream testing and dedicated quality assurance
• Experience in web system or application testing
• At least 2 years of experience in quality analysis and automated testing
• At least 2 years of experience in management or team leadership

Welcomed skills

• Experience in web system development (especially PHP is preferred)
• Experience in project management and process assessment
• Experience in building CI/CD using GitHub Actions, etc.
• JSTQB Foundation Level or higher certification

Desired Characteristics

• Able to communicate in English and Japanese (both text and conversation)
• High sense of ethics and responsibility, and the ability to pursue the value/quality provided to users
• Able to lead a global QA team with in-depth knowledge of quality assurance and strong communication skills.
