Why we are hiring
A Customer Success Engineer is a position in a subscription-based business that provides technical support to our users and leads them to success, improving retention rates. While test automation tools are becoming more common among IT companies in the US, it is still not well known among Japanese companies.
A Customer Success Engineer at Autify is a critical position that utilizes technical and communication skills to help customers successfully automate tests and increase engagement. As we are currently receiving a large number of inquiries both domestically and internationally, we do not have enough Customer Success Engineers to provide post-implementation support. Therefore, we are urgently hiring talent.
Responsibilities
(1)Pre-sales consulting
- Discover use cases for customers, propose our automation tool, and promote its implementation
- Analyze customer test cases and design automated test scenarios
- Provide hands-on product training
(2)Technical account management
- Assist customers in solving technical issues
- Investigate the causes of fundamental problems related to our products
- Work with the development team to respond to cloud platform failures and isolate issues
(3)Product management
- Discover customer demands and work with the development team to develop new features
- Plan product roadmap with the development team
(4)Product documentation preparation
- Create and improve release notes
- Create and improve FAQ articles
Development environment
- Frontend:HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Babel, React, Redux, Jest, Webpack, Parcel
- Server-side:Ruby (Ruby on Rails), Python
- Database:Postgresql
- Infrastructure:AWS, Docker, Redis

Requirements
- Experience in proposing technologies based on an understanding of customer demands
- Website development experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Basic understanding of software testing
- Ability to communicate in business level Japanese
Preferred
- Sales experience in products for engineers
- Possesses a JQTSB qualification
- Experience in E2E test automation with Selenium and Appium
- Development management experience using Scrum
- Ability to communicate in business level English
