Why we are hiring

Testing mobile applications are possible thanks to a wide range of tech stacks. To help Autify for Mobile users solve their issues, it is essential to understand frameworks that directly relate to testing, such as Appium and XCUItest, as well as frameworks that clients use to build their applications. We are hiring engineers with extensive knowledge in mobile application development who will support Autify for Mobile’s future growth.


Responsibilities

  • Investigate and respond to technical inquiries from users and the Customer Success Team
  • Investigate issues that occur in specific environments (websites, browsers, etc.)
  • Develop features and improve stability based on inquiries and investigation findings


Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience developing iOS or Android applications (in any language/framework)
  • Experience in modern development processes that incorporate agile and scrum
  • Non-native Japanese speakers: Business level Japanese (both speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Non-native English speakers: English skills that allow daily conversation and document comprehension


Preferred

  • Experience in automated testing using Appium, XCUITest, etc. (especially on the UI and E2E level)
  • Experience in web application development
  • Experience in backend development utilizing current frameworks
  • Experience in communicating with clients
  • Experience in providing technical support for software products
  • Holds ISTQB/JSTQB certification(s)

  • Passion for troubleshooting
  • Ability to understand various tech stacks
  • Strong ability to determine the cause of issues problems from execution logs and error information
