Required:
Fluency in Japanese, both spoken and written
Business level English
1+ years experience in digital or offline marketing
Powerful storyteller: written, verbal, and visual
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, team collaboration, and organizational skills
Highly adaptive, self starter, creative problem solver
Be based (or prepared to be) in Japan
Preferred:
Fluency in English
Experience leading marketing efforts in a small to mid-stage company
As Callback’s first marketing hire, you’ll help us:
lead our social media marketing
engage our community by creating content, talking regularly to users, and advocating for our user base
help organize irl events
prepare marketing materials in both Japanese and English
provide advice on branding
In addition, we want you to bring your creative mind and entrepreneurial spirit. You will have the opportunity to support other aspects of the company, such as business development and partnerships, and product design. As an early employee, you'll be integral to shaping the company's future direction.
Our team communicates in English but we will be primarily marketing to the Japanese audience, so we are looking for an English/Japanese bilingual candidate. We prefer you to be living in Japan already, but are open to international applicants and will assist with a Japanese work visa sponsorship and travel (if desired).
