About Datachain's Initiatives

On September 5, 2024, we announced a project to build a cross-border remittance infrastructure with international organizations! By using stablecoins, digital currencies whose value is linked to fiat currency, we aim to enable fast, cheap, and convenient international remittances.

Since its founding in 2018, Datachain has been conducting R&D on technology and business opportunities with the goal of creating a de facto infrastructure as a "global x deep tech" initiative originating in Japan.

Our company aims to become a decacorn (a startup with a corporate value of over $10 billion), and it's often said that to achieve this goal, we need to "win in global x deep tech."

The aforementioned cross-border remittance infrastructure project was launched as a major first step toward this goal. Currently, we are moving forward with the project with an advantage thanks to Japan's advanced legal framework. However, given the large size of the market, global competition is expected to intensify in the future.

In this climate, we are rapidly expanding our recruitment efforts, primarily for our development team, to pioneer the creation of a "de facto infrastructure" based on "global x deep tech" from Japan.

• We have already begun developing an international remittance platform using stablecoins in collaboration with international organizations that connect financial institutions around the world.
• In June 2023, Japan became the first developed country to enact a bill regarding blockchain stablecoins, making Japan a world leader in legal development. This is important for major companies to utilize stablecoins.

What Makes This Position So Rewarding 

Front-end engineers need to launch new systems to drive major new businesses. This requires an environment for creating ideal systems and the technical skills to create applications that will serve as global infrastructure.

In terms of implementation, in addition to the usual front-end design aspects, you may also directly invoke applications such as smart contracts on the blockchain. Development requires long-term state management, a key aspect of blockchain, which makes it exciting to design a completely new user experience.

Requirements

• Experience proposing major implementation changes after understanding the value of the feature being implemented
• Experience sharing technical knowledge through pair programming, mob programming, walkthroughs, etc.
• Experience developing an environment that ensures the internal quality of a system
• Technology selection and directory structure development, including peripheral mechanisms such as data stores, queries, caches, and validators, primarily using Next.js and React
• Basic implementation knowledge of algorithms, data structures, networks, security, and design patterns
• Interest in blockchain technology

 

Welcome requirements

• Prototyping experience using tools such as Figma
• Blockchain-related development experience, such as experience using ethers.js, viem, or wagmi
• Engineering technical PR/recruitment activities
• Backend development experience
• Implementation experience based on official documentation and literature (e.g., in English)
• Blockchain-related development experience
