About the Datachain initiative

Datachain announced a project to build a global payment solutions infrastructure on 5 September 2024!
Since its inception in 2018, Datachain has been continuing R&D on technology and business opportunities with the aim of creating a ‘De-Facto infrastructure’ as a Global x Deep Tech company from Japan.

We aim to become a Decacorn (a start-up with an enterprise value of more than USD 10 billion), and we are often told that we need to win in Global x Deep Tech to realize this goal.

As a major first step, the announced project will start, but we have a limited amount of time to get off to a flying start with a big advantage in this area, where the world's top companies will be our competitors. 

As the first penguin, we are currently rapidly expanding our recruitment in order to create a ‘De-Facto infrastructure’ as a Global x Deep Tech company from Japan.

Why Datachain can achieve this

• We will develop an international remittance infrastructure using stable coins in collaboration with a communication network for financial transactions linking more than 11,000 institutions in more than 200 countries and regions worldwide, which are also used by major Japanese banks for overseas remittances.
• In June 2023, Japan will be the first developed country to enact legislation on blockchain stablecoins, so that Japan leads the world in this area.

Attractiveness of the position

The back-end lead engineer needs to launch a new system to drive a new major project and needs an ideal environment to create the system.
In order to create the environment, the role of leading, or leading the team is needed.

The role of the team leader is to take the lead in creating a development process, culture, and framework for engineers to work at maximum efficiency, while understanding the fun and difficulty of setting up a new team.

In terms of implementation, in addition to regular web applications, we will implement applications on the blockchain, and each one of us will realize the organization, culture, and structure to realize development that continues to operate!

Requirements

• Experience in implementing development infrastructure, defining development rules, review process, repository strategy, etc. for new startups.
• Experience in talking with product managers and organizing the necessary elements for system development into Design Docs.
• Experience in sharing technical knowledge through pair-programming, mob-programming, walk-throughs, etc.
• Experience in making rational technical decisions based on a balance of business, organization, and technology.
• Experience in decision-making for mid- to long-term system operation and developing an environment to ensure internal quality.
• Experience with statically typed languages (Go, C/C++, Java, Rust, Scala, etc.) and implementation that captures the characteristics of each language.
• Basic knowledge of algorithms, data structures, networks, security, design patterns, etc.

Preferred Experiences

• Product development experience in the FinTech area
• Experience in promoting engineering technology PR and recruitment activities
• Able to implement based on English literature
• Experience in blockchain related development
