Your Role

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems of our real estate solutions. You will analyze diverse business requirements and apply technology flexibly to address them efficiently.

How We Work

• As a Backend Engineer, you will be part of a Squad.
• Each squad consists of 4 to 6 members, including a Product Manager, Product Designer, and Developers.
• Squads operate autonomously like small startups, taking full ownership of their work.
• We validate our hypotheses quickly through rapid execution, driving incremental yet impactful changes.
• Decision-making is data-driven, and we continuously measure and learn from our product’s performance.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a Backend Engineer who:

• Has 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience or equivalent expertise.
• Is passionate about problem-solving and strives to achieve business objectives as an engineer.
• Cares about E2E testing, unit testing, and building reliable test environments.
• Is proficient in Kotlin or Java 11+.
• Has experience in backend development using Spring Boot + JPA with an RDBMS.
• Fluent in Japanese and business level in English

Tech Stack

• Backend: Spring Boot, Kotlin, JPA, MySQL, Redis
• DevOps: AWS ECS, CodeBuild, Docker

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in PropTech (Property Technology) development.
• Background in SaaS product development.
• Hands-on experience with containerized environments like Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Experience in CI/CD implementation using IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Worked in an Agile environment.
