Delivery Manager, LINK Ecosystem

Opening

Moneytree aggregates financial data from over 2,300 institutions and services across Japan, through credential-based scraping and OAuth-based APIs. Four things define the quality of that service: how many financial institutions we cover, how reliably we connect to them, the quality of the data we collect, and how fresh it is.

As Delivery Manager for data aggregation within LINK, you will own that service level. Working with stakeholders across Moneytree, you will be responsible for ensuring that our service is growing in the most impactful direction.

You will:

• Decide what we build. You decide which institutions and kinds of data LINK will collect, and in what order. You will set strategic goals with the Director of LINK Ecosystem based on your own research and input from your colleagues and stakeholders.
• Responsible for progress. You will be responsible for prioritizing requests for improvements in our aggregation service from other teams within Moneytree, but also clients and partner companies. You will work with our Alliance Management team to ensure we are building strategic relationships with our data providers, as well as with our two data aggregation product teams to ensure that we are delivering the right improvement at the right time.
• Measure our service level. You track our service level against the market, and you set the KPIs that show how your roadmap changes our aggregated data service level.

What we're looking for:

• Native-level fluency in Japanese and business-level English. You can run impactful meetings in both Japanese and English.
• Experience in product management, delivery management or program management, including coordinating work across several teams without direct authority. We welcome early-career candidates with strong evidence of these skills who would like to grow into product managers.
• Comfort with quantitative analysis: you can define a metric, test the data behind it and defend the result. You have enough technical fluency to discuss APIs, web scraping and data pipelines with engineers.
• Curiosity about the market: which financial institutions exist and how we can improve our user’s understanding of their financial health through supporting different products.

Nice to have:

• Experience in fintech, financial data aggregation or open banking.
• Knowledge of Japan's financial institution landscape and the 電子決済等代行業者 regulatory context
• Experience alongside a partner or alliance management function
• Agile delivery at multi-team scale
