Money Forward X?

Money Forward X provides BtoBtoC / BtoBtoB services for financial institutions and business companies and is the predecessor of the Fintech Business Promotion Department launched in 2017. In order to achieve Money Forward's vision of "Becoming the financial platform for all", we are currently working on providing money solutions for local users.
With the trust and data of financial institutions, who have been the foundation of Japan's economy for many years, combined with Money Forward's technology, we will create a future with more convenience and less worries for money.

 

Our product

We are creating "Mikatano Series" a group of softwares which provides various services for businesses. We support our customers (companies) and business partners to take the first step in digitizing their business operation and have more in-site into the business operation and finance.

By providing “Mikatano Series”, we are helping small and medium-sized enterprises to utilize the power of technology to digitalize their business needs. We provide services such as financial management, invoice management, workflow management, etc., that help businesses to realize DX objectives and make work more enjoyable.

 

Overview

As an Intermediate-Level Go Developer, you will be an integral part of our development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Go-based applications and services. You will work closely with senior developers and other cross-functional team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions. Your passion for coding and problem-solving, along with your expertise in Go, will drive the success of our projects and contribute to the growth of our company.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.
• Develop and maintain scalable, performant, and reliable Go applications and microservices.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects, ensuring the timely resolution of issues.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, adhering to the company's coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow developers.
• Work with the DevOps team to deploy applications to production environments and support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure software quality through testing and debugging.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Go and relevant technologies to contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders as needed.

 

Required 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Go developer, with at least 2 years of professional experience working on real-world projects.
• Solid understanding of Go programming language and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with web application development, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in Agile development methodologies is desirable.

 

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.
• Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
• Japanese language proficiency

Location, Hybrid Work

• As a standard practice, a minimum of 2 days work from office attendance is mandatory, designated as team office days. Additionally, employees are encouraged to spend 3 or more days in the office.
