We are looking for a Product Designer with a UX background to join our team supporting our client and their consumer digital products. As a member of our team embedded in a core team of Professional Service, you'll be a key player in creating and driving our returns experience design, helping innovate and develop processes and solutions for a seamless experience.

Along with other Product Designers, you will partner with Engineers, Product Managers and business partners to create experiences connecting people to technologies that transform the way we all work and live.

Your role is multi-disciplinary, delivering value in the form of design decisions. You lead early phases of the process to understand and empathize with people to help your cross-functional team solve customer and business problems. You won't be working alone–as a member of the team, you provide guidance and awareness from a design view point to help in our mission to ship world-class digital products.

Roles

Operate as a design generalist, owning problems from beginning to end; translating research insights into ideas that form new features, then designing the workflows and detailed interactions to bring those ideas to life

Work cross-functionally with engineering and other stakeholders to arrive at the best possible design solutions

Own the end-to-end design process from low-fidelity sketches and user flows, wireframes and prototypes, through to pixel-perfect comps

Work closely with developers to ensure that the finished product aligns closely with original designs and maintains a high standard of quality

Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of a library of design patterns

Evangelize design best practices and design rationale with stakeholders, and help inform product decision-making

Identify metrics to measure design success and work with product and analytics to track them

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience working with in-house design teams

Experience designing and shipping digital tools and complex systems

Experience designing enterprise software offerings

Demonstrated comfort with an iterative design process that includes seeking out and acting on feedback to continually raise the bar

Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills with extensive experience collaborating with engineering to ship products

Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, often wearing multiple hats

Ability to shift gears and pivot based on customer needs

Continuous improvement of your workflow and learning new tools

Actively paying attention to trends in the community and forming opinions on the future of design

Salary
Moneytree's salary structure is designed to offer a base salary along with stock options. Stock options are still a relative rarity in Japan, so Moneytree is one of a reasonably small list of Japanese companies offering them.
Japanese Language Policy
Moneytree does not require Japanese language skills for their engineering positions, though it is an advantage.

As a customer-centric company building products for Japanese customers, Japanese fluency is required for product managers and product designers to do user research, product discovery, etc.

Paid Leave
Moneytree offers 20 paid holidays in addition to 10 sick/care leave days.
