Role Overview

As a Software Engineer in our Tokyo office, you will contribute to designing and developing cybersecurity solutions that address real-world challenges. You will work with cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure systems while growing your technical expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver features that meet technical and business requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. Investigate and resolve technical challenges related to system performance, scalability, and security.
  • Continuously learn and contribute to the team's growth by sharing knowledge and insights.

 

Qualifications

Experience:

 3+ years in software engineering, with hands-on experience developing and maintaining web applications.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with modern web application frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Python Django, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Vue.js, React, or similar. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and scalable system design.

 

Preferred:

Experience with Elixir and/or the Phoenix Framework.

 

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the ad-tech industry or with ad fraud prevention technologies.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as GCP BigQuery or ClickHouse. K
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices. Proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is a plus.
