WealthPark is looking for a Front-end engineer who can accelerate architecture replacement with high ownership. WelthPark has 2 major expectations about this position.

1. Person who is motivated to collaborate with business/PdM/Designer

WealthPark is a startup and communication is very important to us. While redesigning the architecture is a very important mission, we are looking for someone who can drive the discussions with the Business/PdM/Designer and drive the project forward. We are looking for people who are motivated to consider better UI/UX through communication with them and to implement them.

2. Continuously learn new technologies and find ways to solve issues and requirements

On the other hand, WealthPark also focuses on pursuing front-end technologies to achieve better architecture, UI/UX, maintainable code base, and good performance.
In the front-end team, we have frequent design and technology discussions to review the overall design, and we are examining various technologies. For example, recently we have been working on Next.js and GraphQL. WealthPark is looking for people who can continue to actively catch up with new technologies.

Required Requirements

Technical Skills / Experiences
・ 3+ years of building software development with React.
・ 3+ years of building software development with FrontEnd.
・ Deep understanding of React and TypeScript and Dom.
・ Experience with building Single page application with TypeScript.
・ Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS.
・ Experience in interface design of web API.
・ Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins.
・ Accessibility, internationalization, or localization.
・ Strong UX and design sensibilities and an interest in sweating the small stuff.
・ Motivation to learn new techniques continuously.

Soft Skills
・ English(90% of engineers are non-Japanese. We are a very international team.)
・ Highly organized person.
・ Have motivation for team development.
・ Be able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make decisions in a fast-moving and quickly-growing company.
・ Continuously learn new technologies and find ways to solve issues and requirements.

Preferable Requirements

・ Experience in development GraphQL/BFF.
・ Experience in development with NestJS.
・ Experience in developing CI/CD, BFF, and other parts associated with FrontEnd.
・ Experience in managing engineers.
・ Offshore management experience.
・ Experience in the financial / prop-tech industry.
・Japanese skills

Salary and Evaluation system
It will be decided in consideration of experience and skills.
・ Annual salary system
・ Evaluation: twice a year
・ Probation time: 3 months (conditions do not change during the probation time)
・ The annual salary includes 35 hours of overtime work

Japanese Language Policy
English and Japanese are both official languages at WealthPark.

Japanese is still the main language spoken, but we've built an environment where anyone can thrive as long as they've got the skills required.
We're actively working on improving their English support to help accomplish this.

For engineering in particular, 90% of our team members are non-Japanese, so there's no need to know Japanese (the engineering team speaks primarily English).

We have a lively environment where Japanese, English, Mandarin, Cantonese and other languages are spoken :)

Engineer Interview Process
(1) Document screening

(2) Interview
- We set up 3 or 4 interviews.
- The selection flow may be changed
- During the selection period, we may arrange opportunities for casual talks with team members in addition to interviews.
Remote Work
WealthPark requires their members to come to Japan if they are living abroad. There is no designated in-office day, but full remote work is not possible, and it is necessary to live within a commuting area from the office.
