Your Typical Day With Us
- Collaborate with domain experts, engineers, designers, and product management to establish and achieve quality goals
- Gather information needed to perform QA activities from different stakeholders
- Analyze the requirements, identify project and quality risks, and strategize QA activities accordingly
- Work in an agile environment alongside the engineering team to drive and execute project plans
- Work with the development team and the stakeholders to design the test plans and strategies
- Lead the development team in setting up the test environment
- Prioritize tests, execute them, and report issues in a timely manner
- Work with the QA department to establish quality standards throughout the cross-functional teams
- Automate tests and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline if deemed necessary
- Mentor Junior QA members
What You’ll Need
- Over 6 years of experience within the software development industry
- Willingness to learn new technology and skills quickly
- Proficiency in testing under a non-UI environmentI (back-end testing)
- Good knowledge of back-end testing for microservices
- Ability to collaborate with developers to plan and set up test environments
- Experience with API test automation
- Good understanding in event-driven architecture testing
- Business-level English proficiency
- Experience working in an agile environment
What Makes You Stand Out
- Devops, fullstack, or development experiences
- Experience operating cloud web services (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience working in a business based on the philosophies of lean startup and agile mindset
- Experience working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaison between domain experts, engineers, designers, and product management
- Experience working on nonfunctional testing (such as performance, and security testing)
- Experience in the shift-left testing approach
