Not that our recommendations aren’t top-tier, but if you need a change of scenery or a quick place to sit down and work, Osaka offers some good alternatives to traditional coworking spaces. 

These are usually chain restaurants and cafes you’ll find in many areas of the city where you can work for a few hours. Besides, if you’re bothered by the Osaka coworking space prices, these may be an affordable alternative.

Here are a few good ones if you’re in a pinch:

• Starbucks, Tully’s Coffee, and Doutor Coffee: These chains are widespread across Osaka and offer consistent Wi-Fi (not always high-speed, but reliable), comfortable seating, and a non-intrusive, calm atmosphere. They’re ideal for a couple of hours of work, particularly during off-peak hours.

• Komeda Coffee: Komeda is known for its comfortable, homely atmosphere and delicious food. This chain allows you to get some work done comfortably while having lunch or dinner during extended work sessions.

These are all great cafes, but in Japan, there are also lots of chain restaurants that can be your temporary office.
