Job Description
We are looking for a director/UI designer who can think about the best interface and specifications for Colorkrew's services and client work and incorporate them into the design.
Your mission is to maximize customer experience and business impact through design.
In Colorkrew's services, you will communicate with a variety of team members from different professions, including product owners and engineers. In client work, you will also communicate with clients.
Responsibilities
- Information design and requirements definition
- Devising user stories based on hypotheses and data
- Product UI design
Application Requirements
- Direction skills to design information and define requirements for issues.
- User interface design skills that can be incorporated into UI design.
- Communication skills to work closely with clients, product owners, and engineers in the conception, design, and development of products.
- Linguistic skills to explain the intent of the designed design to other professionals.
- Experience using graphic creation tools (Illustrator, Photoshop) and prototyping tools (Figma)
- 3+ years of experience in UI design for web and client applications
- English or Japanese skill
- Submission of a portfolio: one that clearly shows your role (attachment of a separate sheet is acceptable)
Nice to have
- Programming knowledge such as HTML / CSS / JavaScript
- Knowledge of psychology, cognitive psychology, sociology, anthropology, etc.
- Experience in training designers
Working Conditions
Employment Status
- Full-time
- Probationary period: First 3 months after joining the company. (During this period your contract conditions will be the same as that of a permanent employee.)
Work Hours and Work Place
- Scheduled working hours:9 AM – 6 PM (Core time:10 AM - 2 PM)
- Hybrid work style of coming to the office and working remotely. Many of us come to the office about half a day a week. You can come to the office at your free time, avoiding crowded train times.
- There are also people who live in remote areas outside the Tokyo suburbs, and they basically work remotely. They come to the office about once a month on business trips.
- We have no plans to go back to office commuting altogether. We will continue to do hybrid work, mainly remote work.
Holidays
- Two days off per week (as well as national holidays, New Year's break, etc.)
- Paid leave, congratulatory and bereavement leave, sick leave
Salary
- 12 months salary and bonuses paid in summer and winter.

- Reviewed 2 times a year
