What Challenges Does the Foodservice Industry Face?
Japanese restaurants are world-class, with many Michelin-starred establishments, and 'food' is the top reason many international visitors come to Japan. In other words, Japanese cuisine is attracting global attention.
Despite this success, the industry still faces a high number of restaurant bankruptcies, and both business conditions and employee working environments remain tough.
The Japanese dining industry is dealing with two major challenges: money and people.
On the money side, low profit margins have led to poor credit ratings, making it difficult for many restaurants to manage cash flow.
On the people side, high turnover rates and rising wages are creating a constant shortage of workers.
How Does Dinii Solve These Problems?
Dinii addresses these issues through three approaches: increasing restaurant profitability, improving employee satisfaction, and enhancing access to financial services.
For its restaurant-focused SaaS, Dinii offers POS systems as a foundation, along with mobile ordering and CRM features. These unify restaurant sales data and enhance user experience (UX), helping restaurants become more profitable.
For its employee-focused SaaS, Dinii provides time and attendance management, as well as tools that visualize employee contributions, improving both UX and workplace retention.
In the Fintech space, Dinii has also entered the payment sector, offering low-rate services that enable payment processing in restaurants to improve their cash flow. Looking ahead, Dinii aims to boost restaurants' credit ratings by leveraging sales data, which come from its POS systems.
