Engineering Manager（Cloud Infrastructure Team）

業務内容 / You will be

The EM in this department is not only responsible for people management to maximize the performance of each member of the team but also for planning, designing, and building new projects/products and platforms to improve the environment, organization, structure, and culture, facilitating and streamlining communication within and outside the team, building consensus with other teams such as development and business teams. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the team in all areas related to platform engineering.

You will create a team and structure that can deliver higher performance on a stable basis, both in terms of projects, such as improving the environment and planning new organizational measures, and in terms of communication and assignments, aiming to maximize the performance of each individual through 1-on-1 meetings.

You will work not only with Cloud Platform Engineers but also with members and managers of the infrastructure, software development, machine learning, and business development groups to drive the projects/products/infrastructures forward.

当ポジションは、チームの各メンバーのパフォーマンスを最大化するためピープルマネジメントだけでなく、環境、組織、構造、文化を改善するための新しいプロジェクト／製品やプラットフォームの企画・設計・構築、チーム内外のコミュニケーションの促進と効率化、開発チームやビジネスチームなど他のチームとの合意形成などを担当いただきます。プラットフォーム・エンジニアリングに関連するすべての分野でチームをリードすることが期待されます。

プロジェクトにおける環境の改善、新しい組織戦略の立案などに加えて、1on1を通じ個々人のパフォーマンス最大化を目指したコミュニケーションやアサインメントも担当いただき、より高いパフォーマンスを安定的に発揮できるチーム作りを担っていただきます。

また、クラウドプラットフォームエンジニアだけでなく、インフラ、ソフトウェア開発、機械学習、ビジネス開発チームのメンバーやマネージャーと協力して、プロジェクト/プロダクト/インフラを推進に取り組みます。

応募資格（必須） / Minimum qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of technical management experience managing teams consisting of 5+ engineers.
• Minimum 2-3 years of development experience in a modern environment.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solution architectures
• Language skills (Business level English and Strong conversational level Japanese)

• 5人以上のエンジニアチームのマネジメント経験（2～3年以上）
• モダンな環境での開発経験（2～3年以上）
• クラウドプラットフォーム（AWSまたはGCP）に精通していること
• スケーラブルなクラウドベースのソリューションアーキテクチャの設計・実装経験
• ビジネスレベルの英語力＋日常会話レベル以上の日本語力

応募資格（歓迎）/Preferred qualifications

• AWS Solutions Architect certifications or knowledge on par with those
• Kubernetes development experience, such as the creation of in-house Helm charts
• Familiar with scripting languages (Shell, Python, Golang)
• Familiar with extended infrastructure-related tooling such as Ansible or Chef
• Experience in working with large software systems developed on Unix/Linux
• Experience working with monitoring and metrics systems (e.g. Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
• Experience in working closely with development, product, and business teams
• Knowledge of web application security and best practices

• ウェブアプリケーションのセキュリティに関する知識
