Responsibilities of Frontend Roboware Developer

Gaussy's vision is "Logistics gets you there". Gaussy is developing services to solve various companies' logistics issues, including "Roboware," a warehouse robot subscription service, and "WareX," a sharing warehouse service, under the vision.

As one of the Roboware Frontend Developer, you’ll design and implement systems from the ground up that are efficient, extensible, maintainable, and testable. You’ll help create and integrate systems to efficiently distribute and control the work of swarms of robots working collectively with warehouse staff members. You’ll integrate disparate robotics systems into a cohesive customer-facing service.

1. Develop high-quality software designs and architecture

2. Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code in Javascript (React.js)

3. Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

4. Review and debug code; perform validation and verification testing; uncover, quantify and eliminate performance bottlenecks

5. Identify, implement and test system hypothesis based on metrics and data analysis

6. Collaborate with product team, customers, users, and other developers

7. Mentor junior developers

Gaussyは「物流から、新しいチャンスを。」をビジョンに掲げ、倉庫ロボットサブスクリプションサービス「Roboware（ロボウェア）」とシェアリング倉庫サービス「WareX（ウェアエックス）」など、さまざまな企業の物流課題を解決するサービスを展開しています。

Robowareのフロントエンドデベロッパーとして、効率的で、拡張性があり、メンテナンスとテストが可能なシステムを一から設計し、実装していただきます。ロボットの群れを効率的に分配し、倉庫スタッフとの共同作業を制御するシステムの構築と統合を支援。さらに、異なるロボットシステムを統合し、顧客向けの一貫したサービスを提供するために力を貸していただきます。

Required Skills and Experience

1. Ability to work independently and in teams

2. Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

3. Ability and desire to think from the perspective of customers

4. BS Computer Science, or equivalent experience

5. 3+ years of software development experience

6. Strong experience with Javascript (ES6), and preferably React as well as Typescript

7. Experience consuming modern APIs, e.g., REST, or GraphQL

8. Solid understanding of GIT and other collaborative development tools

9. Solid understanding of web development standards especially those pertaining to mobile

10. High level of Japanese reading comprehension

11. Fluency in either English or Japanese
