You will work on development of one of our B2B SaaS products.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with cloud infrastructureAWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc)
Business level English (Japanese is NOT required)
Experience building system with Go
Ability to communicate and work collaboratively in a team environment
Last but not least, fit with open source and hacker culture

Preferred Qualifications

BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or other related technical fields
Experience in software engineering, algorithms, and problem-solving
Experience building and deploying highly concurrent service written in Go
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
Familiarity with containers, deployment systems, CI/CD, and monitoring tools
Familiarity with network programming
Knowledge of Python programming language will be a plus

Work hours

10:00 - 19:00 with flextime (core hours between 11:00 - 16:00).

We also have a Work-from-Home policy.

Holidays

Including national holidays, you will have around 20+ days paid leave. This includes a New Year’s holiday (Dec 29th - Jan 3rd), four days to be used during the summer time, and annual paid leave. We also separately provide the ability to take paid time off to care for a family member.

Japanese Language Policy
Japanese skills are a prerequisite for positions that require communication with Japanese speaking clients or third-parties. It might not be a requirement for software engineers, but it could be in other positions.

Engineering Jobs

(1) Online coding test

(2) Online interview with the team for 3-4 rounds

(3) For new graduates: Participate in a mandatory internship program at our Tokyo office from 2-3 days up to 6-8 weeks (internship cost will be covered) For experienced engineers, you may be asked to participate in a 2-3 days/ 2 weeks trial period

Remote Work

Tech Stack
We use a large variety of technologies at HENNGE and always encourage the use of the right tool for the job. We strive to always use the latest and most up-to-date technologies. Our back-ends are primarily written in Python or Go while our front-ends usually use Vue or React. We heavily use CI/CD tools to streamline our workflows. We use microservice architectures utilizing both containerization and serverless design. Our systems are mainly deployed on AWS with the use of GCP as well. We use a huge range of services provided by these platforms to support our applications.
