At Mico, we provide Mico Engage AI, a high-traffic enterprise SaaS platform used daily by major corporations, and we are currently looking for core team members. This is an opportunity to refine the product with your own hands and enhance the user experience in a fast-growing startup environment.
You will be expected to proactively tackle a wide range of challenges, including optimizing high-traffic systems, designing and developing new AI-powered features, and improving real-time processing infrastructure. This role allows you to work closely with lead engineers, drive development that directly impacts the product’s growth, and be involved in technical decision-making and standardization.
In addition, by collaborating within a multicultural and bilingual team, you will have the chance to hone your skills in a global development environment using both Japanese and English. Key Responsibilities
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a central role in the development team for Mico Engage AI. Your work will include:
- Stabilizing Mico Engage AI’s delivery infrastructure: Develop infrastructure that ensures stable delivery even for clients with large user bases.
- New feature development: Build features according to the product roadmap to enhance product value.
- Customer-driven development: Identify and implement features that are broadly useful and in high demand based on customer success feedback.
- Continuous improvement: Respond to daily requests from new and existing customers, resolve product backlog items, improve UI/UX, and enhance and promote the Developer Experience (DX).

Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Development experience using TypeScript and React
- Full-stack engineering experience (both frontend and backend)
- Ability to independently handle the full cycle from specification to release
- 2+ years of code review experience
- Ability to implement test code to improve quality
- Experience in making technology selection decisions
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years leading development as a technical lead (team of 5+ members)
- Experience leveraging AI efficiently to improve development speed and quality, and ability to document and share best practices
- Next.js development experience
- CI/CD setup experience
- Infrastructure development experience (AWS, Docker, etc.)

Work Location / Work System
- Your preferred work location will be discussed(Osaka or Tokyo)
- Flexible work styles are available depending on job responsibilities (remote/on-site)
- Average On-Site Frequency: About 4 days per month
Work Hours
- Standard Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break; overtime applicable)
- Flexible Time: Core hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Certain grades may fall under a discretionary labor system, per company regulations
