Responsibilities

  • Lead the design efforts for our mobile products and applications, setting the design vision and ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality, user-centric designs that meet project objectives and deadlines
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions into product development cycles, advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Facilitate and enhance communication with both external partners and internal stakeholders, while adeptly managing expectations, to ensure the successful execution of projects
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and development
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all design deliverables, maintaining design systems, guidelines, and documentation as necessary
  • Work closely with other stakeholders to communicate design and gather feedback/suggestions
  • Rapidly iterate on design concepts and prototypes based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis to continuously improve the user experience
  • Facilitate in enhancement and developing of internal design process
  • Manage several projects at once in dynamic, fast-moving settings

 

Requirements

  • Experience as a web & mobile product designer (web/iOS/Android) for 5+ years for a Consumer Product.
  • Experience in leading a team, helping other members with growth, and help coordinate between team and stakeholders when needed
  • Experience in stakeholder management and outlining clear ideas while representing the team and best interest of the product
  • Able to verbalize the output of your design and communicate smoothly with development members
  • Knowledge or strong interest in web3 & willing to learn
  • Ability to perform appropriate prototyping and step-by-step design process based on context
  • Fluent level in Japanese and Business level English

 

Nice To Have

  • Experience as a UX researcher
  • Graphic design skills
  • Front-end development skills

With around 6.5 million registered users in the first 3 years, their engineers have the opportunity to take on complex but rewarding technical challenges.

Being an international company, approximately half of their members come from overseas: they have members from places like Thailand, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia, and Brazil. And nanameue use English as the official company language.
