YouTube Video Editing Creator Assistant

Overview:

As our business rapidly grows in Japan, we are looking for a video editing assistant to support the production of advertisement videos, educational course content, and YouTube materials.

You will:

• Video edit for various social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram
• Manage materials, editing structure, inserting subtitles, BGM, and sound effects
• Optimize short- and long-form videos (resizing to fit platform formats, etc.)
• Organize filmed materials and managing the editing schedule
• Coordinate with production directors and external production companies
• Create simple thumbnails and editing slide-style videos as needed

You may be fit for this role if you:

• Experience using at least one editing tool such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Practical experience (1+ years) in creating thumbnails and editing images using tools like Photoshop or Canva
• Practical experience (1+ years) editing videos for social media or YouTube
• Ability to not only edit based on instructions but also make structural/content suggestions
• Awareness of current editing trends unique to social media
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately, with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in investment and economic news
• Video shooting skills (regardless of whether it’s with a smartphone or mirrorless camera)
• Experience creating motion graphics using tools like After Effects
• Experience in managing or planning content for YouTube or TikTok channels
• Knowledge of entertainment or business-related videos

業務内容:

• YouTube・TikTok・X（旧Twitter）・Instagramなど各種SNS向けの動画編集
• 素材管理・編集構成・テロップ・BGM・SEの挿入
• 短尺／長尺動画の最適化編集（フォーマットに合わせたリサイズ等）
• 撮影した素材の整理や編集スケジュールの管理
• 制作ディレクターや外部制作会社との連携
• 必要に応じて簡易的なサムネイル作成やスライド動画編集

必須要件:

• Premiere Pro、Final Cut Pro、DaVinci Resolve などいずれかの編集ツールの使用経験
• サムネイル制作・画像編集（Photoshop、Canva等）の実務経験（1年以上）
• SNS動画やYouTube動画などの編集実務経験（1年以上）
• 指示ベースでの編集だけでなく、構成提案なども対応できる方
• SNS特有の編集トレンドに対する感度
• 素早く丁寧な対応力とコミュニケーション能力
