Job Description

You will be responsible for providing the data infrastructure to the system development members of our AI Supply Chain Solutions Division, aiming to transform Japan's publishing distribution into a sustainable one through the use of DX (Digital Transformation), a joint effort between Marubeni Corporation, Kodansha Ltd., Shogakukan Inc., and Shueisha Inc. The division aims to expand to a size of over 50 people in the future.

About the AI ​​Supply Chain Solutions Division

To realize sustainable publishing distribution, we provide services to optimize the entire supply chain using DX. While it involves many stakeholders, including publishers, distributors, and bookstores, and requires coordination, it is an extremely rewarding position where you can reform the entire supply chain from upstream to downstream. Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a series of tasks related to the construction, implementation, and operation of the data infrastructure for our company's cloud services.
You will work in cooperation with the current one dedicated infrastructure specialist, focusing on strategic cloud utilization, cost optimization, process automation, and scaling.

Essential skills

• Business-level Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or higher if Japanese is not your native language)
• Experience in building, implementing, and operating service infrastructure using GCP, AWS, or Azure:
  
  • Server construction and operation
  • Network construction and operation
  • Consideration, implementation, and operation of security measures on cloud infrastructure
  • Overall infrastructure design

Skills that would be a plus

• Experience participating in ML service projects
• Experience with data warehousing
• Experience with IaC + CI/CD: Terraform, GitHub Actions/Cloud Build, etc.
• Strong Linux/Unix background
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
