Quollio Technologies is a startup that develops and provides the Quollio® Data Intelligence Cloud. In just four years since our founding, we've successfully implemented our solutions for a variety of large enterprises, primarily for companies publicly listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market.

 

Role & Mission

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for frontend and backend development for our flagship product, the Quollio Data Intelligence Cloud. A key part of your mission will also be to maintain the quality and continuously improve localization for Japanese enterprise customers.

 

Responsibilities

• Cover the entire technical stack used in Quollio and develop and improve features in line with requirements.
• As the sole Japanese speaker on the development team, we expect you to strive for an intuitive and easy-to-understand user experience.
• Follow the Tech Lead's instructions and aim for coding that maintains product quality.
• Provide clear technical documentation for other stakeholders (other engineers, product managers, etc.).
• Actively participate in mutual discussions among team members and contribute ideas for design and process improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience (practical experience with Golang or Rust is a plus).
• 2+ years of business English communication experience (conversation and documentation).
• Business-level Japanese or higher.

 

Preferred Experiences

• 2+ years of experience developing Japanese search functionalities using full-text search engines like Elasticsearch.
• Deep knowledge of data management, data engineering, and data analysis.
• Work experience in a B2B SaaS business.
• Experience in a startup environment.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• Tech Leadの指示に従い、プロダクトの品質を落とさないコーディングを心がける
• 他のステークホルダー（他のエンジニア・プロダクトマネージャーなど）にわかりやすいテクニカルドキュメンテーションを提供する
• メンバー間の相互的なディスカッションに積極的に参加し、設計やプロセスの改善案について意見を出す

• バックエンド開発：3年以上 (Golang・Rustを使用したご経験のある方は尚可)
• ビジネスでの英語でコミュニケーションの経験（会話・ドキュメント）：2年以上

• Elasticsearch等の全文検索エンジンを使用した日本語検索の開発経験：2年以上
• データ管理、データエンジニアリング、データ分析に関する深い知見
• BtoB SaaS事業における業務経験がある方
• スタートアップ環境でのご経験
• コンピューターサイエンス学部ご出身の方
