Business Overview

The Technology Platforms Division (TPD) is responsible for building and operating the infrastructure and ecosystem platforms which power the Rakuten Group. Our mission is to provide our Rakuten Cloud and Ecosystem Platforms which will deliver Core Value to accelerate the growth of Rakuten Group services.

Department Overview

The role of the Technology Platforms Office (TPO) is to elevate TPD through cross-department strategic initiatives and project management excellence. The Cross PJM Section leads the implementation of standardized best practices, processes, and artifacts in project management for the entire Technology Platforms Division.

Overall Position Details

As part of TPO's Cross-Project Management Section, we are seeking a versatile leader who can contribute to and enable us to achieve our challenging section goals.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for standardizing project management processes across all departments, automating project reporting, and developing innovative solutions to enhance our project management capabilities.

You will be part of a dynamic and multicultural team that is always ready to tackle new challenges for the organization.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Experience in Project Management (4 years+)
• Experience with Project Management governance definition, writing, and improvement
• Experience using the following tools: Excel and PowerPoint
• Comfortable with teaching, coaching people, and creating material for it
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• Leadership skills and the ability to influence and inspire teams

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in PMO or in a related field
• Experience in the IT industry.
• Experience with reporting to executive/management level
