Your Job

Responsibilities

As the Vice President of Product Management (VPoP), you will play a critical role in driving the vision, strategy, and execution related to engineering. You will lead the expansion of the product lineup for "Sales Marker" and provide essential leadership to support our company's growth. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction, aligning engineering efforts with business goals, and ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the vision and strategy for the Product Division.
  • Build and support the growth of a high-performance product organization.
  • Drive innovation and technical excellence across all product lines.
  • Create product roadmaps based on strong customer insights.
  • Oversee the development and release management of scalable, high-quality products.
  • Establish efficient development processes through close collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Strengthen cross-product collaboration to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build a competitive value proposition and achieve PMF based on market trends.

 

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management and 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of product and business strategy
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
  • Ability to foresee challenges and provide effective solutions to solve problems in a systematic way
  • Native level Japanese and Fluent English

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the 0-to-1 phase of product development at a product-based tech startup.
  • Led a product team in the development of new products from scratch.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Experience in SaaS or B2B software development.
  • Strong personal branding and presence in the tech industry.
  • Experience in the compound development of multiple products.
  • Deep knowledge of UI/UX.

We use Zoom and Meet, and recently introduced the virtual office platform Gather to maintain both the quality and quantity of communication while working remotely, ensuring smooth development and operations. We also rent a WeWork office, so coming to the office every day is possible if you prefer.
