QA Engineer

Description

Join our international team as a QA Engineer to support the development of our modern logistics web application. You will perform manual and automated testing, working closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure the smooth, stable rollout of new features. As a key member of the QA team, you are responsible for driving Shippio's product quality through testing, automation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Test planning, test design, and test execution.
• Coordinating the rollout of new features and updates.
• Incident handling and troubleshooting bugs in production.
• Improving current development and testing processes.
• Extending our automated E2E test suite to increase test coverage.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in QA of SaaS web applications.
• At least basic experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Puppeteer).
• Basic programming skills (e.g., JavaScript).
• Proficiency in Japanese. Basic English skills.
• A “product mindset” to guide your understanding of our customers' needs and operations.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools to debug and analyze network requests and console logs.

• 2年以上のSaaS WebアプリケーションのQA業務経験（国際物流業界での実務経験がある場合にはこの限りではない）
• ビジネスレベル以上の日本語スキルと、基本的な英語スキル
• お客様のニーズと業務を理解するためのプロダクトマインド
• ブラウザ開発ツールを使用したネットワークリクエストとコンソールログのデバッグと分析の経験

Preferred Experiences

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Testing experience with B2B SaaS or web-based ERP systems.
• Basic experience with API testing and REST APIs.
• Experience in the logistics industry.
