Frontend Engineer (Web)

Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Frontend Engineer to own the design and build of Caretomo’s UI—an AI-powered platform that helps medical staff work smarter and spend more time with patients. In this role you’ll turn user insights into elegant React/Next.js interfaces, weave real-time AI features into every workflow, and high performance, accessibility, and security from prototype to production. Responsibilities:

• Implement new features and user interfaces using Next.js.
• Collaborate with customer success, designers, and backend engineers to create a cohesive and high-performing application.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Required Skills:

• Proven development experience with React and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience in team development environments, including code reviews and version control.
• Experience utilizing monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana) for metrics acquisition and performance tracking.
• Skills in backend and infrastructure development are a significant plus.
