Job Description

You will be responsible for technical programme management in the development of game platforms.
As a member of the release management team for network services and network SDKs, you will work with other teams to manage the projects you are in charge of in order to achieve the best possible results.
You will work directly with the US manager, coordinating and managing the QA department and the many component development teams located around the world to ensure that releases are made on schedule and to a high quality.
This position will allow you to gain experience in the development of some of the world's largest network systems and in large-scale Agile development.

 

Introduction to the organisation and workplace

The workplace is in Tokyo, and although it is currently mainly remote, there are opportunities for off-site team building.
There are many team members in their 20s and 30s, and even if you are a young person or an experienced person joining the company, it is a workplace where you can express your opinions and have flat discussions. Since there are many employees who like games, there are frequent conversations about the company's products and games.
There are various stakeholders, and as the work content is often directly communicated with US managers, English is used on a daily basis, so this position is also suitable for those who are considering a career in a global position in the future.

 

Required skills and technical areas

Required

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of project/programme management and software development processes
  • Experience in release management for large-scale systems
  • Basic knowledge of network services/server client systems
  • Ability to isolate problems and propose approaches to solving them

 

Preferred

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner in Agile development

 

Personality

  • Able to challenge new ways of doing things and thinking without being constrained by existing methods
  • Someone who can think logically based on facts and data, and who can observe things from a broad perspective
  • Someone who can communicate actively and smoothly with diverse stakeholders in Japan and overseas, and who can involve them

 

Language skills 

  • Native Japanese speaker or equivalent to JLPT N1 level
  • Ability to write reports and presentations in English, and ability to facilitate

ゲームプラットフォームの開発におけるテクニカルプログラムマネジメント業務を担っていただきます。
ネットワークサービスとネットワークSDKのリリースマネジメントチームの一員として、他のチームと連携し、最大限の成果を生み出すために担当プロジェクトをマネジメントしていただきます。
USのマネージャーと直接連携をし,QA部門とグローバルに点在する多数のコンポーネント開発チームとを連携させ,スケジュール通りに高品質にリリースを可能にするためのコーディネーションやマネジメント業務を行います。
本ポジションは世界有数の大規模なネットワークシステムの開発及びに大規模Agile開発の経験を積むことが可能です。

職場は東京で、現在リモート中心となっていますが、オフサイトでのチームビルディング機会があります。
チームメンバーは20 代、30 代の社員も多く、若い世代の方や経験者入社の方であっても意見が言えてフラットに議論ができる職場です。ゲーム好きな社員が多いため、自社の製品やゲームについて会話することも頻繁にあります。
ステークホルダーも様々おり、業務内容がUSのマネージャーとダイレクトにやり取りすることも多く、日常的に英語を使うことも多いため、将来グローバルなポジションでのキャリア形成を考えている方にも向いているポジションです。
