About This Role: Engineering Manager (No-Code & Cloud Infrastructure)
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Japanese market No-code team and support our cloud infrastructure management. This role is a blend of software engineering leadership and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), ensuring our products remain stable, performant, and reliable as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Operational Sustainability: Manage infrastructure, service procurement, and third-party providers to ensure production delivery stability.
- People Management: Mentor engineers, support career development, and maximize productivity through goal setting and evaluations.
- Infrastructure Excellence: Enable cross-team improvements on stability, performance, and cost-optimization using expert collaboration.
- Agile Facilitation: Lead team ceremonies, remove blockers, and provide visibility into team metrics and infrastructure status.
- Technical Strategy: Identify architectural challenges and technical debt, planning long-term improvements accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership: 3+ years of Engineering Management experience.
- Engineering Depth: 5+ years in software development (Backend experience is a plus).
- Cloud & Infrastructure: 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- SRE Tooling: Proficiency in monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, Sentry) and incident management practices.
- Specialized Knowledge: Experience with certificate management and PKI infrastructure.
- Communication: High proficiency in English (working language).

- Backend/Frontend: Ruby on Rails, Go, TypeScript, React
- Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Packer
- Monitoring/CI: Datadog, New Relic, CircleCI, GitHub Actions
Employment Conditions & Benefits
- Location: Tokyo Office or Remote in Japan (Hybrid: at least once a week in office).
- Compensation: Full-time permanent status, Unlimited PTO, twice-yearly bonuses, and Stock Options.
