Job Description

"Colorkrew Biz" aims to reduce unproductive work though QR code technology.

Using QR and authentication technology, you can easily manage seats, schedule appointments, manage company equipment, and send mail.

We looking to further evolve these services and develop new features. We are looking for a developer who can be entrusted with the development of our applications and microservices.

Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver high-quality frontend components and backend services
Participate in and contribute to the planning processes to design products that fit within business and technical constraints
Respond quickly and independently to the rapidly changing needs of users
Develop and optimize both backend and frontend service and infrastructure

Requirements

3+ years of web development experience
2+ years of development experience on using server-side languages (Go, PHP, Python, C++, Ruby, Java etc.) or frontend-side using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 or/and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js)
2+ years of experience designing and using database (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
Excellent communication skills
Able to use English at a fluent or native level

Nice to have

Experience in locating and improving the bottleneck of system performance
Working experience in UI / UX design

Full-time

Probationary period: First 3 months after joining the company. (During this period your contract conditions will be the same as that of a permanent employee.)

Work Hours and Work Place

Scheduled working hours:9 AM – 6 PM (Core time:10 AM - 2 PM)
Hybrid work style of coming to the office and working remotely. Many of us come to the office about half a day a week. You can come to the office at your free time, avoiding crowded train times.
We have no plans to go back to office commuting altogether. We will continue to do hybrid work, mainly remote work.

Holidays

Two days off per week (as well as national holidays, New Year's break, etc.)

Salary

12 months salary and bonuses paid in summer and winter.

They’re building several in-house products such as Colorkrew Biz, which is a business concierge service that solves administrative issues using QR and authentication technologies, and Goalous, a social network for companies that focus on managing company goals like OKRs.

They also do consulting work across a wide variety of areas such as cloud integration, marketing and promotion, payments, server architecture and more. Colorkrew’s development team is made up of talented people from many different countries, and they maintain a vibrant, international environment. It’s also one of the first companies in Japan to adopt a truly flat hierarchy, eliminating all job titles and departments in order to maximize the impact of each individual. Japanese Language Policy
If you can communicate actively as necessary to complete your work, you don’t need Japanese skills. Colorkrew is becoming an international company, but there are still a lot of employees working there that can’t speak English, so the more Japanese you know the better.

Colorkrew sponsors visas for international candidates, and will prepare the necessary documents for submission to integration.

Remote Work
Colorkrew implements day a mixture of remote and in-office work, with most members coming to the office 2 days per week.

In general, Colorkrew is very flexible about remote work, allowing anyone to work remotely.

Colorkrew's model is super flat. Positions: none. Hierarchy: none. Colorkrew has no use for positions that are only about managing other people. There is no need to be chained to one department.
