Position Overview

Join us in developing our new B2B SaaS product, a next-generation groupware, workspace and enterprise security solution. As a QA Engineer, your role will involve assuring the application quality and leading the definition of quality criteria.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to plan and implement quality assurance initiatives
  • Lead a team of quality assurance engineers
  • Help HR managers hire new quality assurance engineers
  • Planning of quality assurance strategy and automation strategies  related to functional requirements for SaaS products
  • Planning actual tests and managing product bugs and issues

 

Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities    

  • A minimum of 10 years experience as a QA engineer, with at least 5 years in a QA leadership position for B2B SaaS products
  • Expertise in designing and executing testing: manual, automation, API testing
  • Expertise in designing and implementing automated E2E testing (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
  • Expertise in Agile frameworks and regression testing
  • Experience in making the QA strategy and creating the documentation about it
  • Experience in leading or managing the QA team
  • Excellent communication skills in English, along with a background in team-based B2B service development

 

Additional Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities    

  • Experience in the development of new products
  • Experience in implementing bug-tracking systems
  • Experience with BDD
  • Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SCIM, and SAML
  • Japanese communication skills are a plus

 

Work Hours    

  • Flexible working hours
  • Core collaboration time : Tue-Fri 9 am-12 pm (JST)

 

Location    

  • You can choose the work location nationwide, whether at one of our offices* or from home.
    • Office list
    • The Sapporo, Sendai, and Yokohama offices are designated for specific divisions only. (Ex: Sales Team)
  • Smoking will be prohibited in all office areas, except for designated smoking rooms in some areas.

 

Salary Range    

  • JPY 7,500,000 – JPY 12,000,000(※1)
  • Estimated annual salary:  Base Salary (12 months) + Bonus (Base salary x 1 month x twice a year = 2 months)
  • Monthly salary system:  Base salary is determined based on your skill set, experience, and abilities, etc. 
  • An allowance for additional overtime(※2)is included in the base salary.

    ・However, work exceeding additional overtime agreed to between the employer and employee will be compensated separately.

  • Base monthly salary(※1):  JPY 540,000 – JPY 860,000
  • The base monthly salary breakdown as follows:
      ・Base salary:  JPY 411,400 – JPY 655,200
      ・Allowance for additional overtime(※2):  JPY 128,600 to JPY 204,800

※Notes:
 1. Depending on your skill set and experience, the amount set may be outside the above range.
 2. Calculated based on 160 hours of scheduled working hours per month and 40 hours of additional overtime.
