Job Description
You will build and improve infrastructure surrounding Degica’s e-commerce and payment platforms by making Degica’s services highly reliable, efficient, and scalable. You will do this by automating all things infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and automate tooling around infrastructure and monitoring
- Work hand-in-hand with engineers to improve CI/CD workflows
- Help improve and formalize disaster recovery at Degica by shortening time to restore service in production
- Help automate against latest vulnerabilities by services up date
Required Skills
- Experience writing code in at least one major programming language
- Past experience developing tooling around cloud-based infrastructure
- Strong knowledge working with Linux-based systems
- Strong knowledge around networking and security
Good to have
- Experience working with AWS and CloudFormation
- Knowledge of the Ruby programming language
- Previous experience developing web applications
- Able to speak Japanese, but not required

Remote Work: Degica allows full remote work from anywhere in Japan. Employees are free to work from home or from our office in Tokyo.
