About Platform Engieering

Platform Engineering Department manages cloud infrastructure and cloud security for all company products, as well as research and implement development tools. Platform Engineering Department is also responsible for the development of platforms and microservices that facilitate product development.



Responsibilities & Mission

  • Lead and build strong Platform Engineering teams by establishing strong engineering practices
  • Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance
  • Hire new talent for the team and offer coaching and development opportunities
  • Communicate and collaborate with other managers, stakeholders and contractors

Role Description / 仕事内容

The EM in this department are not only responsible for people management to maximize the performance of each member of the team, but also for planning, designing and building new projects/products and platforms to improve the environment, organization, structure and culture, facilitating and streamlining communication within and outside the team, building consensus with other teams such as development and business teams. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the team in all areas related to platform engineering.

You will create a team and structure that can deliver higher performance on a stable basis, both in terms of projects, such as improving the environment and planning new organizational measures, and in terms of communication and assignments, aiming to maximize the performance of each individual through 1-on-1 meetings.

You will work not only with Platform Engineers, but also with members and managers of the infrastructure, software development, machine learning, and business development groups, to drive the projects/products/infrastructures forward.





Minimum Skill/Experience 必須要件

  • At least 2-3 years of technical management experience managing teams consisting of 5+ engineers.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of development experience in a on modern environment
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS or GCP)
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solution architectures
  • Bi-lingual (business English & Japanese daily conversation) OR (English daily conversation & Japanese native)


  • 5人以上のエンジニアで構成されるチームを管理するマネジメントの経験が2~3年以上あること。
  • モダンな環境での2~3年以上の開発経験
  • 少なくとも1つのクラウドプラットフォーム(AWSまたはGCP)に精通していること
  • スケーラブルなクラウドベースのソリューションアーキテクチャの設計と実装の経験
  • バイリンガル: (ビジネス英語と日本語の日常会話)または(英語の日常会話と日本語のネイティブ)
