Our main product, KATIX, has two versions. The original is aimed at people looking to sell their motorcycle, and is built using a combination of Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, and Node.js.

More recently, we’ve launched a version for selling cars. This is built using Next.js and TypeScript. Both are dockerized and deployed on AWS. As a full stack engineer, you’ll be assigned to one of these two teams.

Responsibilities

Frontend web development using Vue.js or Next.js
Backend web development using Ruby on Rails or Node.js
DevOps tasks, including CI/CD setup with GitHub Actions and working within AWS (ECR, ECS, load balancers, security groups, monitoring, and logging)

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of professional backend & frontend web development experience (any language)
JLPT N2 Japanese skills or higher

Ideal Requirements

5+ years of professional backend & frontend web development experience
Proficient in Rails, Typescript, NextJS, or VueJS.
JLPT N1 or better.
Experience as a tech lead in an engineering team.
Experience following Scrum.

Users can simply take a photo of the item and enter the item details, and they’ll receive an offer amount the next day. Selling is easily completed with just a smartphone. This is a new service that has never existed before.
