Our main product, KATIX, has two versions. The original is aimed at people looking to sell their motorcycle, and is built using a combination of Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, and Node.js.

More recently, we’ve launched a version for selling cars. This is built using Next.js and TypeScript. Both are dockerized and deployed on AWS. As a full stack engineer, you’ll be assigned to one of these two teams.

Responsibilities

Frontend web development using Vue.js or Next.js
Backend web development using Ruby on Rails or Node.js
DevOps tasks, including CI/CD setup with GitHub Actions and working within AWS (ECR, ECS, load balancers, security groups, monitoring, and logging)

Requirements

2+ years of professional backend web development experience
1+ year of professional experience with Ruby, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Conversational Japanese skills or higher

About INTERFIRM

INTERFIRM believes that “Even valuable items can be safely sold online”. They developed KATIX, an online-complete selling service that connects "individuals who want to let go" with "stores that buy".

Users can simply take a photo of the item and enter the item details, and they’ll receive an offer amount the next day. Selling is easily completed with just a smartphone. This is a new service that has never existed before.
