Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at LiNKX you will be responsible for solution quality and technical excellence of a product. This is a high impact role where your contributions will not only make a difference to our customers and users, but will also support the development team to achieve high levels of excellence. Job Responsibilities

• Identity, investigate and document problems and bugs in software products/solutions.

• Support customers with issues related to product quality and testing.

• Plan, create, maintain and execute detailed test plans for verification of, but not limited to, software functionality, security, load, and performance.

• Work closely, collaboratively and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, as well as help build a positive, productive team environment.

• Participate in defining test automation strategies with your Tech Lead and applying appropriate automation technologies to meet the short and long term quality goals.

• Take initiative and ownership of developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, solutions and automated test scripts.

Qualifications

• Business level Japanese or higher.

• Intermediate level English (good reading/writing ability is a must).

• Fundamental knowledge of web applications, browsers and operating systems.

• Solid understanding of quality assurance including manual and automated software testing.

• Knowledge of testing methodologies such as blackbox testing, acceptance testing etc.

• Practical experience with a programming language that can be used for automated testing such as Javascript or Typescript.

• Ability to communicate technical and complex concepts and problems persuasively and concisely to all levels of the business.

• Professional oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business and technology stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience programming automated tests for web applications and/or backend.

• Experience using test suites and API test tools.

• Experience with at least one of: Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Nest.js. 

• Software security knowledge and understanding is highly desirable.
