Overview
The Vision Behind Establishing a Development Base in Kansai
Money Forward has established multiple development bases. For those who wish to work in the Kansai area, we operate two development bases in Kyoto and Osaka to provide a comfortable working environment for everyone across the Kansai region. Although the two bases have different physical offices, they are organized as the same "Kansai Base," allowing employees to choose the location that is most convenient for them. At the Kansai base, we are involved in the development and operation of "Money Forward Cloud Accounting Plus," a core product of "Money Forward Cloud ERP," as well as the development of new products.
We aim to build a team that can maximize user value by incorporating the principles of large-scale Scrum development.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will be involved in the development of the business-oriented cloud service "Money Forward Cloud Accounting Plus."
You will be responsible for user interactions, aiming to develop a comfortable and user-friendly application.

To pursue operability that rivals installed applications, you will actively adopt effective technologies such as React and work to enhance the user experience as much as possible by addressing technical debt and promoting the transition to a modern frontend. Since long-term operation is a premise, maintainability will be the primary consideration during implementation. Additionally, we place great importance on the review process to share knowledge and criteria for decision-making during implementation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to write highly readable and maintainable code
- Capability to independently design, plan, and execute development projects
- Experience in team development using GitHub, CI, Lint, etc.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in developing and operating web applications with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript
- Experience in developing GraphQL or REST APIs
- Experience in service operation using monitoring tools
- Knowledge of design methodologies such as Design Patterns (GoF), Domain-Driven Design, and Clean Architecture
- Practical experience in Agile development, such as Scrum
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Business level or higher (equivalent to JLPT N2 or above)
- English: Basic business level (equivalent to TOEIC 700 or above)
- If you do not have a qualification equivalent to TOEIC 700 or above, you may be required to take a company-designated test during the selection process (generally expected after the first interview).
- If you have other qualifications or experiences that demonstrate your English proficiency, please let us know.
- Examples include Eiken Pre-1st Grade, Eiken 2nd Grade (Eiken CSE Score 1950 or above), TOEFL iBT 60 or above, IELTS 5.0 or above, Cambridge English FCE, etc.
- Other qualifications or experiences demonstrating English proficiency can be discussed.
