Recruitment Background

At Money Forward, we have initiated a new venture in collaboration with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to explore the provision of BaaS/digital banking services.

We are currently seeking a PMO for this project.

About Us

We are a startup team partnering with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to establish a new digital bank. Our top priority is to build embedded financial products from scratch to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

Main Responsibilities

Our goal is to shape the future of digital banking in Japan, delivering the best user experience and supporting further digital transformation (DX) of companies.

• Project initiation
• Project management support
• PMO tasks (planning, progress management, issue and risk management, etc.)
• Collaboration with Scrum Masters
• Coordination and consensus-building with stakeholders
• Project monitoring and reporting support
• Conducting project retrospectives and knowledge sharing

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 3 years of practical experience in project management/PMO at a business company or SIer, etc.
• Experience in promoting cross-functional projects across multiple teams or departments
• PM/PMO experience in projects ranging from tens of millions to under 100 million yen
• Understanding and interest in software development and engineering processes
• Practical experience in global organizations/teams
• Agile development
• Experience using Jira

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in technology strategy or development organization transformation
• Knowledge of web services or software development
• Familiarity with project management frameworks (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• PM/PMO experience in projects exceeding tens of millions to over 100 million yen
• Experience in the digital banking or BaaS domain
• Experience in AI development or using AI tools for development
• As announced in Money Forward AI Vision 2025, we are working on improving operational efficiency using AI and plan to introduce AI agents in all products in the future.

Language Requirements

• Japanese: Business level
• English: Business level (TOEIC score of 700 or above)

• Provided PC specs: Latest CPU-equipped PC (MacOS or Windows). Custom PC orders and upgrades to the latest OS are possible based on business requirements.
