The intention to establish a development base in Kansai

At Money Forward, we have established multiple development bases
For those who wish to work in the Kansai area, we operate two development bases in Kyoto and Osaka to provide a comfortable working environment for everyone in the entire Kansai region. These two bases are considered as part of the same 'Kansai base' organizationally, with only the physical office locations being different. This allows you to choose the location that is most convenient for you to commute to.
At our Kansai base, we are engaged in the development and operation of 'Money Forward Accounting Plus,' which serves as the core product of 'Money Forward Cloud ERP,' as well as the development of new products.
We aim to achieve a team capable of maximizing user value by incorporating the principles of large-scale Scrum development.



Our team develops and operates the business-oriented cloud service "Money Forward Accounting Plus" which is widely used by companies ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to publicly listed companies. With the mid-term vision of "Accounting that grows and connects with business," Money Forward Accounting Plus continuously improves the product to help accounting departments become the engine of corporate growth.

Four years have passed since the release of "Money Forward Accounting Plus" and fortunately, the number of users has been steadily increasing. We are at a phase where we must evolve our architecture to maintain delivery speed without compromising on value, despite the growing codebase, access numbers, and data volume, and to ensure it can withstand larger scales of use.

To further accelerate the delivery of value to the growing user base of our accounting SaaS, we have started recruiting engineers to join us in development. As an engineer, you will be involved in the development and operation of the business-oriented cloud service "Money Forward Accounting Plus". Working as part of a Scrum team, you will collaborate with team members to advance development and engage in tasks necessary to deliver value to users. Your role will be to deliver more value to users from the technological aspect.

  • Experience in web application development
  • Experience in development using RDBMS


Language Requirement

  • Japanese: Business Level (JLPT N1)

  • Experience in development using object-oriented programming

Salary Range

    • As a standard practice, a minimum of 2 days work from office attendance is mandatory, designated as team office days. Additionally, employees are encouraged to spend 3 or more days in the office.
