We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong background and passion for building scalable trading platforms.
You will work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and business leaders to lead technical direction and product growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the product and engineering teams, providing strategic guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
• Architect and design scalable, secure, and low-latency systems that can grow with our business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical and product roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Be hands-on with coding, setting technology standards, debugging, and ensuring the health of the tech stack.
• Conduct regular reviews of technology initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization.
• Act as a technology thought leader, staying informed of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience building financial trading systems from scratch.
• Proven experience building and scaling product and engineering teams.
• Strong background in designing and operating large-scale, low-latency systems.
• Strong system architecture, design principles, and high-quality coding skills.
• Language/framework knowledge is less important than general engineering excellence.
• Passion for working in diverse teams and building a positive engineering culture.
• Ability to work in an international environment.
• Business-level or higher proficiency in Japanese, with the ability to communicate and perform business tasks effectively.
