Description

Rapyuta Robotics is seeking talented and ambitious individuals with a can-do attitude to help revolutionize robotics. We’re creating a whole new generation of robotics platform. The project management team, which you will be part of, is responsible for executing the project within the scope and budget by collaborating with the product team and business team.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. A Project Management Professional certification is a huge advantage.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with engineer managers to complete the project on time and budget
Collaborate and lead the team members to identify and resolve issues.
Considering the potential risks in the project, negotiate with the stakeholders about the delivery date and quality standards to control their expectations
Preparing internal and external documents, like requirements specifications and status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
Support the project team by handling parts of the development tasks (requirements definition, design review) to lead the project into a success.
Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for a flawless execution of projects
Identifying and developing new opportunities with existing/new clients

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering or tech-related industry, particularly ICT and/or robotics
At least 3-5 years of business-to-business corporate-level experience in IT consulting
Good communication skills in English to drive international discussions
Excellent Japanese communication skills (both verbal and written) and understanding of Japanese business manner
Organized, punctual, and strong attention to details
Strong leadership to influence people

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced technical degree or MBA from a top international school
Strong market research and strategic analysis skills
Certified as Project Management Professional (PMP)
